I got a belated birthday card from my little sister, and it just made my day. Haven't been feeling too well, but that little surprise just perked me right up.
Inspired me to draw a thank you pick of her and her Whoo-tini :)

There will come a day, my friends, when your birthday is just another day (albeit a day to use as an excuse to indulge in a preferred social drink. Wait… I started early? Silly me). As it is, I should be working on more serious work… that and the house rules are no alcohol… *sigh*

Happy Groundhog's Day

Just a doodle

My two last grandparents, will not be with us for much longer. And while I know I'll see them again, knowing that they won't be around hurts. But I know they're in pain, and I know that they're okay with leaving (especially my Poppy, we just lost his 'Honey' - Gramma Honey - a few months back).

I've been really up and down with this, and wanted to draw something, and nothing was coming - then it suddenly occurred to me: Baymax
So I doodled a quick Baymax to comfort me and any family (or anyone) who need to hear this from a lovable marshmallow robot.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015!!

I know I'm jumping the gun here, but I wanted to make sure I got something posted for New Years while I work on my original pic for the occasion (hint: it's totally fan-art, and I'm not ashamed to admit that)
and it was also a test to see how my computer and it's programs are holding up after my attempt at an overhaul… seems to be doing okay, still a bit of a lag even after shutting down PS… but it looks like I'm back in business to finally finish commissions! (yay!)

here's to leaving the husk of this last year behind and [hopefully] on to a much better year!!

I was given a chance to go to CTNexpo this year, and I'm so grateful I got to go! I did get around to some doodling, and set up some knew goals for myself, so those posts will be coming later today if I can get enough work done by this afternoon. :D
